Bridge Pin Size Finder

Pick your guitar to see which bridge pin size it takes, and whether Crosby pins will fit.

Can’t find your guitar? and we’ll add it.

How to measure your bridge pins

If your guitar has been repaired, or you just want to be sure, measuring one pin takes a minute.

  1. Pull one pin that fits well

Loosen that string first, then lift the pin out with a pin puller or a cloth so you don’t mark the bridge.

  2. Measure just under the collar

Use a digital caliper that reads to 0.001″, at the top of the shaft where it meets the head. No caliper? A millimetre ruler will get you close (Crosby pins are about 5.3 mm across), but sizes differ by fractions of a millimetre, so a caliper is best.

  3. Compare with the chart

Crosby pins are size 1T: a 3° taper, 0.210″ (5.33 mm) at the top.
